The management of the Radiation Safety Program is a critical tool in maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the security of RAM. Applied Health Physics, Inc. can assist licensees with developing proper management oversight via program development, staff augmentation and on-sight reviews. In addition the Applied Health Physics' staff can review current methods of securing RAM based upon federally mandated increased controls.

Comprehensive Compliance & Radiological Safety Audits:
AHP can perform an independent and confidential review of licensed activities identifying any potential areas of non-compliance and provide recommendations necessary to ensure regulatory compliance.

 

 

Licensing - An AHP professional will assist in the preparation and submission of NRC, or Agreement State license applications, renewals, amendments or terminations. This service can include a revision of current restrictive commitments.

Program Manual Development - In order to ensure compliance with NRC, or Agreement State regulations and licensing conditions our staff will develop written radiation safety operating and emergency procedures into a corporate safety manual.

 

Position Replacement - AHP can provide interim staffing personnel to include radiation safety officer, radiation safety technician and/or health physicist on a short or long term basis.
